Flore is one of a rare new breed of Breakbeat producers who are daring to be innovative. In the past she has released on labels such as Mofo, iBreaks & Labrok but it is her most recent release on Botchit & Scarper that begun to show Flore’s true potential. Testament to this is the breadth of styles and influences effortlesly incorporated into her productions and especially that of her recent single ‘The Test / We Rewind’ featuring Rodney P & Shunda K (Yo Majesty)on vocals and received universal support from DJ’s spanning a wide range of genres. The follow-up and second single to be released from her forthcoming album ‘Raw’ sees her teaming up with Shunda K of Yo Majesty fame (Domino) again and Flyy Git for a fresh assault on the world of Breaks and well beyond!!

First up is the very much in demand Peo De Pitte (AKA Haggstrom) remix of ‘Feel Me’ which takes no prisoners on it’s way to the dance-floor, already a firm favourite with Rennie Pilgrem even before we had given him a copy! Delivering a full-on, firing breakbeat assault that’ll challenge even the heaviest of club tracks this winter. A funking chunking big ass breaks number, with stop start jerk funk punctuated with Shunda K ‘s sassy vox, and a tearing hook of brass and horns styled synths that drives the mix forward.. A genuine biggie folks!

Next up are the deliciously sleazy electro, hip-hop vibes on ‘Feel Me’. True to form, Shunda K gets down and dirty from the off and sets the scene with a provocative strip tease of a vocal that lures you all the way in. Flore meanwhile keeps it on the down low, laying down a slice of pure electro- hip hop inspred funkbreaks that wouldn’t be out of place blaring from a street corner in Vice City!

On the flip is ‘FDB’ one for the Bass Line Crew!.., which sees Flore really hit her stride, laying down a killer bassline under a mash-up of hip- hop, electro and percussive elements to devastating effect. Shunda K brings the pressure on vocal duty to round off a track sure to do as much damage on the ipod as it will in the club.

Caper then takes us on a trip down memory lane with the garage-laced dubstep remix of F.D.B. The pace is kicked up a gear with the jumpy 2 –step beat and squelchy bass-line which will be sure to get any dance floor moving. The 2-step vibes are matched perfectly with the laidback vocals of Shunda K and Flyy Git, which intertwine perfectly over the flowing bassline.
